Remove Before Cleaning: For healed lobes, always remove your gauges to thoroughly clean both the jewelry surface and the internal fistula (the inner channel of the piercing) where dead skin and oils accumulate. 

Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Never use rubbing alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, or harsh peroxides, as they dry out and irritate the skin and can damage organic or coated jewelry.

Moisturize Your Lobes: Massage your bare earlobes 2 to 3 times a week with natural options like jojoba oil, vitamin E oil, or castor oil to maintain skin elasticity and prevent dryness. 

Handle with Clean Hands: Always wash your hands with mild, fragrance-free soap before handling your jewelry or touching your stretched lobes.
